It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and sister Jaqui Joys.
Jaqui was born in Cudworth, Saskatchewan on June 23, 1950, to Fred and Jean Saranchuk (deceased).
She is survived by her son Christien (Heather); sisters Donna (Len) and Janice (Bob) and their families. She also leaves behind her beloved poodles.
Jaqui moved to White Rock/Surrey in 2009 and she involved herself in the community with Rotary Club, the sing a long seniors group, teaching piano lessons and raising several litters of standard poodles.
She was an accomplished musician, teacher, Realtor, Ukrainian dancer, gardener, avid traveler and a good sister. She involved herself in many charities and she enjoyed spending quality time with her son and extended family and friends. Jaqui spent Saturday mornings going to garage sales on the hunt for something unique.
Jaqui will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on March 2, 2024, at Arbor Memorial Valley View Funeral Home, 14644 72 Ave, Surrey, BC V3S 2E7.
