Jean was a woman who was content and whose life held many happy memories. Growing up in Regina, SK. where she was born, her time as a secretary for the Public Works Department, marrying Dick Bigelow in 1950, raising three children, Susan, Dan and Howard, being with friends, playing bridge, golfing, travel, her time at the Pigeon Lake cabin and the annual family camping trips. She was a talented artist, she could sew and knit, made delicious pies!, read voraciously, and was always so interested in people and events. She lived independently, after Dick passed in 2006, until she went to live in Westminster House in 2022. She was very happy there, well looked after, and made many friendships with residents and staff. She left a positive impression and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
