HILBORN; Jessie I.
December 9, 1930 - June 30, 2016
On June 30th, 2016 Jessie Isabella Hilborn passed away at the age of 85, in White Rock, BC. She was born December 9th, 1930 in West Vancouver, BC. Mom was of Scottish/English descent, raised in Kerrisdale, Vancouver, BC, where she excelled in school, later graduating from Prince of Wales High School. Her career began as an RN, in the 50's she embarked on a second career as an Airline Stewardess for the Canadian Pacific Airlines. Two requirements were to speak French and be a nurse, other unspoken attributes were beauty and warmth, she had it all. Leaving a huge void in this family; she set the bar with her strength, unconditional love and courage. Jessie is predeceased by her two beloved sons Bruce, Bobby and brother L.Col J. Cameron. She is survived by her children: Catherine, Lorraine, James, Mary & David, her fifteen very attached grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Our mom whose life will carry on through the hearts of those she gave life too, will be forever cherished and missed immensely.
Until we meet again Dear, We Love you Mom, We love you Gramma. A service will be held at St. Mary's Church in Kerrisdale - 2490 W 37th Ave., Vancouver, BC on Monday, July 25th 2016 at 2:00 pm.
