Born in Chilliwack BC, Joanne spent her first 8 years there before the family moved to Sardis.
After Graduation she travelled across Canada, the start of the travel bug. Returning to the West Coast she completed Marketing and Communication at BCIT and began a successful 25 year career in Sales at the Peace Arch News.
A lifelong hiker and an excellent skier, in retirement Joanne embraced her true passion, yoga.
She became a Certified yoga instructor, teaching yoga for 5 years in various studios. These were among the happiest years of her life.
Joanne was married to Warren for 30 years. Together they travelled the world, visiting more than 25 countries and 50 World heritage sites.
Joanne is predeceased by her parents Doreen and Archie McLellan and brother Scott.
Survived by husband Warren, children Adam, Lindsey, Andrew, Kim Justin, a loving Grandma JO to Wyatt and Jesse and her nephew Seth. There are many cousins and friends saddened by our loss.
A Memorial service will be announced.
