Houston, John (Jack) Robert
August 7, 1925 - November 26, 2016
Jack passed away peacefully in Surrey, BC, after a brief illness. Jack was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Robert Stanley and Gertrude Katherine Houston. He is predeceased by his sisters Dora, Lorna and Patricia and his beloved daughter Nancy. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Evelyn; daughter Patricia and son Rob; granddaughters Emily and Laura. He was a veteran of WWll with the RCAF. Jack spent his career in the Air Pollution and Dust Control Industry retiring to British Columbia in 1988, settling in South Surrey. He was a past member of Kiwanis and Probus Clubs and the Air Crew Assoc.
A private family service will be held. Jack will be laid to rest beside his daughter, Nancy, in the family plot in Winnipeg. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Jack`s name
to BCSPCA, The Salvation Army or to
a charity of their choice.
