KATHLEEN FLORENCE MORRISION
Kay passed away peacefully at the age of 94 years on Tuesday, May 13, 2008.
Kay is predeceased by her husband Chuck and all of her brothers & sisters. She is survived by her daughter Gail (Ken) Chambers, her two grandsons, Scott (Paula), Ryan (Tammy) Stubbings, two great grandchildren, twins Evan and Katie and many relatives & friends.
Kay led a wonderful life and lived each day to its fullest. She opened her own beauty salon in White Rock in 1939, she was an Honorary Life Member of the Peace Arch District Hospital Women's Auxiliary, was a bowler for many years and loved to sing. (she was a member of the Morgan Place Choir). She touched many lives and will be truly missed.
The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to all the nurses & care aides at Morgan Place Care Home - Cobden Unit.
No service by request. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation or give your MOM a big hug and tell her that you love her !
A celebration of life will be held at Morgan Place Care Home, 3288 156A Street, Surrey, B.C. on Saturday, May 24, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
