Larry passed away peacefully at Chartwell Crescent Gardens on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Beloved longtime proprietor of iconic Kerrisdale store, Magee Grocery and retired general manager of Kearney Funeral Services.
Predeceased by our mother Barbara (Judd) in 1999. Larry missed her every day.The youngest of his family, he was also predeceased by his sisters Bernadette, Cecile, and
Lillian; and by Barbara's siblings Richard and Pamela.
Larry is survived by his daughters Vivien (Michael), Valerie, Vanessa, and son Michael (Berenice). He is the much loved grandfather of Michelle, Daniel, Kristen, Vince, Makyla, Justine, and Michael Jr.
He will be sadly missed by them and their families, including 7 great-grandchildren, and fondly remembered by many nephews and nieces.
Heartfelt thanks to his caregivers at Chartwell. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Ronald Thompson, Wednesday, August 25 at 1 pm at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 1430 West 38th Avenue, Vancouver.
A reception according to Covid protocol will be held on the Summit Room Patio at Seasons In The Park directly after mass. Complimentary Valet Parking.
