Pre-deceased by her loving husband Wilfred Moore and her eldest son Larry Sware (Lisa)
Lorena is survived by her daughter Cheryl Hall (Ian) and her son Darrell Sware (Val), as well as 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Lorena was born in Maloy, Alberta and spent her early years on the farm. She later moved to the Wetaskiwin/Edmonton area where her three children were born.
She chose to leave there in 1961 and moved to White Rock, raising her children as a single mom.
When her kids were grown, Lorena went to work as an activity coordinator in a local care home and then found her true calling as a dedicated volunteer. She served for years with St. John's Ambulance, the Alzheimer's Society and Osteoarthritis groups. She selflessly gave countless hours to these causes that she so strongly believed in.
At the young age of 80, Lorena met and married the love of her life, Wilf Moore.
Lorena's beautiful smile and wonderful sense of humour will be greatly missed by her family and friends near and far.
