Lorraine passed away peacefully and is sadly missed by surviving family in BC, and Sweden. Her children, grandchildren, brother Geoff, nieces, nephews, and friends will forever cherish the memory of her gentle strength and warm heart.
Born in Chase BC to Flora (Ferguson) and Jack Scatchard, she moved to Kamloops, and then Vancouver, where she met Erik.
Married in 1957, she was soon mother to Karin, Lorne (Tammy), Neil (Carrie), and grandma to Tanner, Saje, Eric and Jake.
She raised her family, moving often in support of Erik's work, until they settled in White Rock.
Lorraine enjoyed her garden, walking, hiking, xc sking and travel with Erik until he passed in 2007. She continued on, enjoying friends, travel, painting and her family.
She was deeply loved, and we will miss her.
