WATERSTON Lydia Watson
March 15, 1924 - May 30, 2013
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear mother and grandmother Lydia. Predeceased by her husband John in 2000, Lydia will be forever remembered and loved by her daughter Aileen, son-in-law David and grandson Christopher. Also left to mourn her passing are grandchildren Brett (Denise) and Tammie (Mike) and great grandchildren Mikaela and Gabriel. Lydia was loved by all who knew her, always smiling, always with a zest for life. Prior to retirement Lydia was a very successful florist having had her own floral businesses in Vancouver and Burnaby. After retirement she and John enjoyed a world of travel. Even after John's passing, Lydia at age 82, decided she wanted to cruise the mighty Amazon River. And she did!
A Celebration of Life for this amazing lady will be held at Victory Memorial Park (14831 - 28th Ave., Surrey) at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2013. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Peace Arch Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
