VANDER PLOEG, M. Joyce. Born September 16, 1931. Following a lengthy struggle with Multiple Sclerosis Joyce passed away peacefullyat Peace Arch Hospital, June 21, 2004. Survived by her loving family, husband Don (51 yrs), son Gary (Jeannie), daughter Gwen (David Wills), grandchildren Karen, Tim, Claire and Kristofer, her dear sister Mary Sue of Wolfville, N.S., and many cousins. Joyce will be remembered by her many friends for her happy outlook and lively sense of humor. Grateful thanks for the loving care and support by the staff of Finlay Pavillion during her six year stay. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 6th at 2 p.m., Victory Memorial Park, 148th St., at 28th Ave., South Surrey, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of B.C.
