June 10, 1929 - February 28, 2024
Marge Moulton ("Nana") passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 28, 2024. She will be greatly missed by her husband of over 71 years, Jack, and her children, Sandra and Craig, their spouses, Shawn and Vaudene, her beloved grandchildren, Courtney, Drew and Claire and great granddaughter, Ava.
Marge was predeceased by her parents, James and Julia McWilliam, and her 4 siblings.
Marge was born in the family home on Montcalm Street in Vancouver and moved to New Westminster in the late 1940's. It was in New Westminster where she met Jack and lived for many years raising their family. In 1989, Marge and Jack moved to Ocean Park where they enjoyed the close proximity to north west Washington which they were fond of exploring.
Jack retired in 1992 and they spent the winter months for the following 16 years in Palm Springs, enjoying memorable times with many old friends and new.
Marge was a "character" who loved people, made friends easily and had a great sense of humour. She was meticulous with her house cleaning and was her own "Molly Maid"; if Nana couldn't remove a stain .... no-one could.
Marge/Mom/Nana will be dearly missed. The family plans to hold a celebration of life later in the year. In lieu of flowers, we invite people to donate to the Union Gospel Mission or a charity of choice.
In Marge's memory, please raise a glass of wine, her favourite .... "with lots of ice babe".
