Marlene passed away on May 8, 2016 suddenly at the age of 79. She is survived by her 4 children; Allan (Lynda), Sherry (Jim), Susan (John) and Corey (Angela), 3 step children; Brent, Barbara (Dave), and Linda. She also left 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sister; Ryer, Rachel, Jackson, and Terry. She was born and raised in Warburg, Alberta. In her early adult years, she lived in and around various small towns in Alberta and Saskatchewan chasing the oil rigs with her first husband and father of her 4 natural children. In the late 60’s and throughout the seventies she resided in Edmonton before moving with her second husband to South Surrey in 1984. She lived and worked in South Surrey as a Residential Builder and retired in 1996. Marlene certainly came a long way in her life; she loved travelling and visited Europe, Mexico, and many places throughout the USA and Canada. Marlene was a devout Christian and has gone on to be with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus. She is now enjoying her well earned rewards in heaven.
