Mary Ann (Kliewer) Bennett was born July 1926 in Samara, Russia and went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, Sept 17, 2016. She immigrated to Canada when she was only 1 month old, settling first in Manitoba and then relocated to BC in 1934. She is predeceased by her sister, Lydia, two brothers, Jack and Victor and her wonderful husband of 52 years, David. She will be lovingly remembered by her four sons, Paul, Philip (Carol), Andrew (Irma) and Daniel (Sherry), 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and sister, Elsie (Alvin) along with many nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, Sept. 26, 2016 at the Oasis building at Elim Village. The family wishes to thank the amazing staff of the Harrison and the Emerald that cared for and loved mom during her final years. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hope International Development Agency would be appreciated.
