Matthew Angus

Passed away recently at the age of 21 from diabetes complications. Matthew grew up in Mississauga, Ontario and White Rock, B.C. where he was a proud graduate of Semiahmoo High School. He was a terrific musician whose zest for living life to the fullest was never hampered by his disease. His all too short life was marked by a spirit of adventure, and he took great pleasure in lazy spent days on the French River, horseback riding, snowboarding and scuba diving. His warm smile and inspiring spirit will be tremendously missed by his mother Kathy (Doc), father Kent, grandparents’ Hank and Dories Angus and Leone Wrath, uncles and cousins plus a multitude of loving friends. A memorial service was held on February 14, 2003 at the Northside Community Church, in Mission, B.C. In lieu of flowers, Matt would appreciate donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 7100 Woodbine Ave., Suite 311, Markham, Ontario L3R 5J2.
