July 27, 1982 - January 10, 2019
Monica passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She leaves to mourn her parents Helmut and Roberta, her sister Jacqueline, brother in law Chris Price and her cherished nephews Jacob and Owen. Also, her Opa Henry Dahl and aunts, uncles and cousins in Winnipeg, Chicago, Calgary, Regina and England. Monica was predeceased by her Grandparents Matthew and Elsie Laverick and her Oma Lina Dahl.
Monica was born in Winnipeg and moved to BC when she was 9 years old. She grew up in the community of Ocean Park, South Surrey. After high school she attended BCIT and Royal Roads University where she gained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. She then worked as an award winning, respected and accomplished realtor at Remax Colonial Pacific for 10 years. In 2015, Monica was asked to join the Board of Peace Arch Hospital Foundation, a cause close to her heart.
Monica will be remembered for her confidence and strength in leadership. She was a shining light that brightened each room she entered. To know her was to love her. She left an imprint on everyone she met.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Peace Portal Alliance Church on February 1st at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation.
