Muriel Grigoruk passed away in White Rock at the age of 85.
She was preceded by Daniel, her husband of 46 years, and by her sister Norma.
She is survived by her brother Michael, her children Carl, Alanna, Anton, and Janine, and her grandchildren Maya, Jason, Laronna, Scott, and Tiffany.
She was born in Natal, a coal mining town in southeastern BC. After high school she attended secretarial school and then worked in Calgary.
In 1957 she and Daniel married in Fernie, BC. They had four children and raised them in White Rock. Muriel worked at Simpson Sears and worked as a nurse's aide.
When the children were young, the family attended White Rock Baptist Church. In 1986 she and Daniel were baptized at White Rock Christian Fellowship Church.
In her later years, Muriel walked a lot. She was friendly and enjoyed talking with the neighbours.
Muriel was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Creston, BC next to her husband Daniel.
