MORRISON, Norm. Norm passed away in Peace Arch Hospital on Saturday, February 2, 2013. Both his father and mother predeceased him, Gordon and Minnie Morrison. He is survived by his sister and brother, Madeleine and Ronald and four loving children, daughters Christine, Melanie and Natalie (Justin) and son Norm.
Norm was born May 9, 1949 in Winnipeg then spent most of his adult life here on the West Coast. Norm worked for the Fraser Health Authority as an IT Specialist until his retirement at the end of November, 2012. Norm loved painting, reading, entertaining, gardening and spent many happy evenings playing drums under the two tall trees of East Beach on Semiahmoo reserve.
In August of last year Norm was extremely proud and honoured to give his daughter Natalie away to her betrothed Justin at the very top of Grouse Mountain. A Special Ceremony in Norm's honour was held Saturday, February 16th 1:00-3:00pm at the Sandpiper Pub, 15595 Marine Dr, White Rock. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation. Norm was and is loved by his family, pets and many friends in the White Rock community. He will be terribly missed by all.
