October 4, 1928 - January 27, 2019
In the early morning of Jan 27/2019 our beautiful momma passed away. She spent her last 2 days surrounded by her loving family.
Mom was born in New Westminster to White Rock pioneers Allan & Jeanette Anthony. She was predeceased by our dad, Leonard Collishaw, her siblings Alice Samson, Phyllis Browne, Jeanette Weston, & James Anthony. She is survived by her by her children Janice (Scott), Allan (Trudie), Megan (Tom), and Jennifer (Jon), her sister Virginia Baker, eight grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
Anyone who knew mom can attest to her loving heart, strength of character, and wicked sense of humour. She loved crossword puzzles, crib games, Young and The Restless, a glass of wine, a good laugh, baking pies, boating, a cold beer, listening to her favourite music, and "jolly" times with friends. Above all else she loved her family and they all loved her.
The family would like to thank the 2nd floor staff of the Al Hogg Pavilion for their compassion and the exceptional care they provided to our mom. We will be forever grateful.
A celebration of life will be held Sat., May 4th/2019, 11:00 am, Morgan Creek Golf Club, 3500 Morgan Creek Way, Surrey B.C
