February 12, 1956 - December 30, 2020
Ray passed away overnight in his sleep peacefully at his home in White Rock. He was the 5th of six children, that was raised on the small family farm in South Langley. He was always one to have a rabbit or two in the coup to raise to sell at the auction.
He attended school at South Carvolth & Glenwood Elementary, graduating from Langley Secondary School in 1974. His work career started at the Surrey Co-Op grocery store, then onto Woodwards/Safeway for many years and eventually retiring from Provincial Health Services Authority - Forensics Unit. Ray's health began to suffer with heart issues after retirement.
He enjoyed volunteering in his younger years with the local cable channel filming community stories. Ray relished his morning coffee rendezvous with the group in his retirement.
He is predeceased by his parents Stuart and Patsy, and brother in-law John. Left to mourn his loss is his siblings, Ruth, Marlane, Marilyn (Hartwell), Loretta (John), and Garry (Val), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ray lived life his way, on his own time.
There will be no funeral services in view of these recent times.
In lieu of flowers, please support the charity of your choice in Ray's memory.
