Rev. Fred Pahl

January 20, 2005

Rev. Fred Pahl of White Rock, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2005 at the age of 83.

He served many churches throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan , and British Columbia.

He was loved for his friendly spirit, his pastoral care in the congregations he served, and the challenging sermons he gave.

His wife Viola, a polio paraplegic for 56 years, will never forget the loving care he gave her during their 58 years of marriage. Fred was her strength, her legs and her never-complaining caregiver during their years together.

There was a private Memorial Service.

He leaves the following family who will cherish wonderful memories: his wife Viola; a daughter Susan Pahl; a son Gerhart Pahl married to Penny and their four sons Christopher, Wesley, Lionel and Neil.

Other family members are a sister Emma (Pahl) Effa and her husband Alvin in Chilliwack; two brothers: Art with his wife Anne Pahl in California; Dr. Ed Pahl with his wife Judy in Oregon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Evergreen Baptist Home Chapel Ministries in White Rock or to the Union Gospel Mission in Vancouver or to a charity of your choice.
