BOOTH, Richard Douglas

July 4, 1920 - December 21, 2016


Predeceased by his wife Joy (nee Rathie) and son Don, he is survived by his 2 sons Rick and Jack, many grandchildren & great grandchildren. Born and raised in Vancouver, Doug excelled in lacrosse and swimming until joining the RAF as a spitfire fighter pilot in WWII. He returned home safe and went to UBC for his CGA and started a family. Doug & Joy retired to White Rock and traveled yearly to Mexico in their RV.


He was a local celebrity at many restaurants in White Rock and he will be remembered for his wit and charm. Donations in his memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
