SLOAN: Roy Kerr, passed away February 18, 2004 at the age of 91. Predeceased by his beloved wife Gladys in 2003. Survived by his loving daughters, Barb and husband Phil of Kelowna, Betty and husband Geoff of Calgary, Peggy of Toronto, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Roy was born in Mozambique January 5, 1913, educated in England and moved to B.C. in 1930. After serving with the Royal Canadian Engineers in Europe during WWII, Roy and Gladys settled in White Rock where Roy worked for Canada Customs. They were long time members of the Semiahmoo Fish and Game Club until their move to Kelowna in 1989. No service by request.
