JONES, Ruby May (Nee Machell)
Born May 19, 1927, passed away on April 29, 2010, at her home in Aldergrove, BC. Ruby was the youngest daughter of Matsqui pioneers, Roy and Edith Machell. Predeceased by her husband Hugh, her brother Wallace and her sister Gene, Ruby is survived by her sons, Gerry and his wife Rose, Jim and his wife Joan, Ken and his wife Pennie and Don and his wife Ann; her foster son, Gordon Frizzell; her sister-in-law, Terri Machell, as well as her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A Celebration of Ruby's life will be held at the Bradner Hall, at 1:30 pm on Sunday, May 16. For those desiring, donations made in Ruby's memory to the BC and Yukon Heart & Stroke Foundation would be most appreciated.
