February 24, 1936 - April 25, 2020
Ruth passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25 2020 in South Surrey, B.C. She will be deeply missed by her three surviving children Heather (Marc), Paul (Kirsten), Cary, and her pre-deceased son Rick's wife Andrea. She is also missed by her eight grandchildren Jessica, Andrew, Sarah, Kyra, Lauren, Jack, Erik and Dylan. Ruth was pre-deceased 13 years ago by Norman, her loving husband of 50 years.
Ruth will always be remembered for her kind and caring attitude, her desire to learn and try new things (including snowmobiling in her 70's!) and her winning smile. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A huge thank you to the staff of Whitecliff for providing such wonderful care to her over the last few years - we are so thankful for each and every one of you!
