October 15, 1937 - February 3, 2020
Sheila Dawn Cook (Rowdon) age 82 passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2020. She was born on October 15th, 1937 to Cyril and Florence Rowdon in Winnipeg, MB. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Kim, Chris (Peter), Erin and sons, Gord (Carla) and Matt. She will be missed by her grandsons, Ryan, Jared, Dane, Cade and granddaughters, Momo and Rhythm.
Sheila always loved the joy of living and had an unflagging interest in her family and those around her. She was full of fun and a great storyteller. Sheila was instrumental in her grandson's lives and treasured her visits to Japan to see her granddaughters. She loved travelling and embraced life with the truth, an emphatic opinion and a chuckle.
Mom / Granny, we know that your life was challenging at the end and you were unable to live it in the way you wanted. We understand that it was time for you to go. You will be sorely missed and forever cherished. Your life stories will live on.
A cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in the Spring of 2020.
