Stanley passed away with family by his side on Sunday, January 8, 2017. Predeceased by his parents Rosa and Michael, brother Edward, daughters Bonnie and Barbara and his granddaughter Kari Ann.

Loved & always to be remembered by his wife of 68 years Shirley, his sons Gary (Connie) and Clarence (Dallas), daughters Brenda (Joel), Belle, Betty (Keith), Katarina (Brian) and Susan. He was also a grandfather to 13, and great-grandfather of 11 and also a grandfather to Sammie & Sophie, his 4 legged buddies. Survived also by his brothers John and Adolf and sisters Kay and Bernice, also many nieces and nephews.

Stan had a special bond with his best friend and co-worker for many years Jim Young, he always looked forward to his morning coffee and chat with Jim, he really cherished that friendship.

Dad loved camping, his vegetable garden where he always had the best beans, tomatoes & his favourite potatoes and his long car rides with his 9 kids where he would quiz them on the trees and birds.

A man of many hats, his favourite was his cowboy hat and working at the Douglas Lake Ranch, as well as a welding helmet being such an accomplished welder machinist.

Special thank you to the staff on Stan's floor at Evergreen Baptist Care Home, we know they'll always remember the words "Good Show". No service upon request, a celebration of his great life will be held at a later date.

Dad, you were such a kind gentle soul, everyone that came into contact with you instantly loved you, heaven has gained a special angel and his name is Stanley. Thank you for all our special memories dad, we love you and will miss you... big hugs and kisses.
