Steffi passed away peacefully, with her daughter's hand on her heart, at Evergreen Terraces, White Rock. Though the ravages of Alzheimer's had kept her from doing anything for herself, or communicating for many years, her heart and body remained strong.
Strength and courage were an integral part of Steffi's nature. At the age of 18 she escaped from her war-torn communist country, Yugoslavia, with a factory co-worker, Zvonko, who would become her husband. They ended up in Moose Jaw, Sask. Side-by-side they created a successful business, building and selling beautiful homes.
Steffi was kind, loving and a devoted mother. She cooked, sewed, and was an award-winning gardener. She enjoyed music, dancing, and traveling. She is deeply loved and will forever be remembered.
Predeceased by her beloved husband and her son, Bob, she leaves behind her daughter Kala (Jennie) and husband, Mark, plus numerous family members and their children
