Teresa Elizabeth Miller (born Haines), of South Surrey BC passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer with her family and friends by her side. Teresa was born in Vancouver and grew up in North Delta BC. She is survived by her husband Paul, and daughters Cora and Scarlett, her parents Dale and Marilyn, her sister Corrie and husband Clint and their daughter Annabella, brothers-in-law Gary (Barb), Randy (Connie), Mark (Donna), sister-in-law Kathy (Tim), and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Teresa's life-long adventure started with dance and sports as a young girl in North Delta. Her adventure led her to Paul, and eventually a move to Seattle where she discovered her new passions in life by developing her creative side through culinary school and her education in interior design. They eventually returned to BC where Teresa embarked on her interior design career in Vancouver with Perkins & Will, culminating in her partnership with Publicand awards for Best in Show and Award of Excellence from the Interior Designers Institute of BC.
Teresa truly cherished and loved all the great friends she made in her early years, during her time in Seattle, and after her return to BC. Teresa's other passion was raising her daughters Cora and Scarlett. Her love and guidance has shaped them into the two kind and amazing girls they have become.
Teresa was a loving and caring person, who touched many with her smile and laughter.
Her welcoming and fun loving spirit will be forever missed.
We thank the kind hearts at Peace Arch Hospital and the BC Cancer Agency who cared for Teresa.
Please consider a donation to the Peace Arch Hospital, BC Cancer Agency or the Canadian Cancer Society so we can beat this disease once and for all.
