In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness we share that Tom passed away peacefully on July 10th, 2022 in Victoria, BC after a difficult battle with cancer.
Tom is predeceased by his wife Tuulikki, sisters Jonina and Patricia and brother Darrell. Tom is survived by his three daughters Coral (John), Patti (Ruan), Debbie (Marc) and his five grandsons Jonah, Nolan, Ryker, Onni and Esko; siblings Alden (Terri) and Ernie (Bev).
Tom was born in Alert Bay, BC. He married Tuulikki and raised their children in Surrey, BC. Tom was a lifelong commercial seine fisher who built and operated the Mystic Wind. He was an avid basketball player, golfer, hunter for birds and big game, and was known to make a few bets at the horse track. In Tom's later years his five grandsons gave him much pride, joy and laughter.
Tom will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
