It is with great sadness that we, as a family, share the news of the passing of Gertrude Ann ("Trudy") Bishop on May 31, 2024 at Melville Hospice Home.
Trudy grew up in Deer Park, Washington but lived most of her adult life in White Rock, BC. She was a talented pianist and lover of the arts. She maintained a lifelong interest in social justice issues and was an active member of the Star of the Sea parish.
Nothing, however, was as important to Trudy as her family and she will be deeply missed by her five children and their partners, her nine grandchildren and her ten great-grandchildren. Her gentle, thoughtful nature won her the admiration and friendship of so many people who will miss her greatly.
A funeral mass in her honour will be held on Friday, June 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Parish, 2250 150th Street, Surrey BC with a reception to follow.
