HENNEY, Vera Leone (nee Wahl) of White Rock, BC, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2006. She was born on August 28, 1914 in Parkside, Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by her parents Anton & Millie Wahl, her husband Tom, son Jimmy, two brothers Bennie and Marvin and four sisters Isabel, Peggy, Myrtle and Louise. She is survived and fondly remembered by nieces Sharron Turlock, Carol Budnick, Linda Roche and nephew Garry Wahl. Her many other members of the family and friends from both Canada and the United States will miss her dearly. Special thoughts and Prayers come from two of her remaining dearest and life long friends, Mary Hall and Edith Scott. The family would like to express their gratitude to the loving and caring staff at Weatherby II Pavilion, Peace Arch Hospital, where Vera spent the final couple of years of her life. Many thanks goes out to the nursing staff at Weatherby II for all the extra special care that they gave to Vera. Special thanks goes out to Pat Kinghorn, Social Worker at Weatherby II Pavilion for all her kindness and everything that she did for Vera and the family and also, a very special thanks goes out to Ilona Klimczak, who was Vera's daytime care companion and who took wonderful care of Vera and to whom the family will be forever grateful.
