W.H. Harvey Fulton

December 22, 2003

Born in New Westminster, B.C. on August 9, 1934. He passed peacefully at home on December 22, 2003 at the age of 69 years. You are a man who has inspired many in your lifetime. Through your undying love of family and friends to your complete and total dedication to a variety of groups and organizations you have touched many hearts. You truly were a man with a mission in life. From camping and fishing with family and friends to RVing in no man's land, to spending time in Shuswap with your grandkids, you have left your mark on us all. From discussions to arguments, nothing but memories of good fun remain. Dad, you are so missed. Dad was a member of the Gizeh Shriners and talked constantly of the Shriners Hospital and the amazing work they did for disable kids. He was a long time member of the Masonic Lodge, Joppa #112 and was a past D.D.G.M. He was also a member of the O.E.S. & Eureka #103. Dad was an avid sportsman and you would usually find him on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Langley Rod & Gun Club coaching his grandson to shoot. From high school to retirement, Dad was an electrician and strong union supporter of the IBEW #213. He married Maryellen (Long) on July 1, 1957. They had two daughters, Sylvia (Rob) Bath (children Alysia and Michael) and Patty (Brian) Hik (children Ryan, Jordan, Jonathan and Nicholas). They then had two sons, James (son James) and Stuart. Dad is also survived by his sister Jean (Digby) Turney and brother-in-law Bill (Frieda) Long. Dad was predeceased by his parents Bill and Lydia Fulton. Dad was a man who was always helping people. We wonder who he's helping now. Dad, we love you. Funeral services are on Monday, December 29, 2003 at 11:00 am at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831-28th Avenue, Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to The Shriners Hospital, 3550 Wayburn Drive, Burnaby, B.C.
