After a happy and peaceful life married to his high school sweetheart Shirley, Wayne died on the 28th of March in his 88th year.
Mourning are his sons Mark and Jeff (Sue), grandchildren Simon, Luke, and Tessa, brothers Doc and Lorne (Brenda) all of British Columbia, brother Kent (Linda) lives on the family farm in Ontario, and brother- in-law Paul Heath (Pat) also of Ontario.
Much loved uncle to several nieces and nephews. Employed by Raytheon Canada as a Purchasing Agent and Contracts Administrator for 34 years. Busy in retirement for 27 years.
Wayne's passion for travel took them across Canada and the US. First in a little blue tent, graduating to a small motorhome. Their travels also took them overseas, furthest destinations Australia and India.
A celebration for his life will take place in the chapel at his home at Evergreen Manor, White Rock. Cremation has taken place.
