POWELL, William (Bill) Hawkshaw
March 1, 1925 ~ February 13, 2015
Bill died peacefully at Windermere Care Centre in Vancouver. He is survived by his sister, Dorathea (Do) Wiens (Victoria) and his brother, Dacre Powell (Langley) and his two daughters Robin (Jory) Mitchell (Vancouver) and Lesley Powell (Victoria), his two granddaughters Tara (Paul) Morgan and Jenna (Colin) Maxwell and his great grandchildren Connor and Austin Maxwell and Avelynn Morgan (due April 2015). Bill will be remembered by friends and family in Ireland, England, Victoria, Creston, Summerland, Yhak, White Rock, Vancouver and in western Canada. Bill truly loved people, sports and travelling. His Celebration of Life service was held on February 22, 2015 in Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the BC Alzheimer Society.
