Even though pier accessibility is not their responsibility, I’d love to read that Burlington Northern (Santa Fe Railway) through its owner, steps up to the plate and says, “We got your back. We’ll take care of this.”
BNSF is 100 per cent owned by Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffet’s holding company. Mr. Buffet has donated $36 billion of BH shares to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Perhaps a call to the Foundation would result in accessibility funding.
