Re: Perhaps revive death sentence, April 30 letters.
I agree with letter-writer Marty Eisner, as many others do also, regarding considering a “return to capital punishment for convicted terrorists and murderers.”
Why should we pay for their luxurious vacation? They get their meals, shower, clean bed, sports, further education and metal- and woodworking opportunity.
Forty-two per cent of our income goes to taxes, so we do not have a choice as to steer our income.
If you take a life, you must give your life. Bring back the electric chair and watch the number of murders go down, as well as the expense of maintaining these prisoners.
