It is unfortunate that your friend and you have not kept up with the local and international recommendations from medical authorities. Being pregnant is no reason not to get the COVID-19 vaccination. In fact, it is recommended.

If a pregnant woman who is unvaccinated happens to catch the virus, her outcome is actually more in jeopardy than many other healthy people.

Nobody is punishing the unvaccinated; but are protecting the rest of the population from them. To allow someone into a public space to potentially infect innocent bystanders is unacceptable. You have been paying attention to the wrong sources of information.
