A big thank you to Alex Browne for his dramatic reading of A Christmas Carol last Friday at St. Mark’s Church.
The snow may have stopped many from showing up, but the 54 people who attended witnessed Alex’s interpretation of the Dickens’ characters to perfection.
The eight-chapter readings was interspersed by carol-singing led by the St. Mark’s choir. A total of $525 was raised to support St. Mark’s Syrian Refugee Fund. Many attendees had suggested that St. Mark’s host this event again, next year but not on a snowy night.
Thank you to Alex, the choir and to those who braved our winter weather to attend.
Merry Christmas to all!
