LETTERS: Disappointing faux pas

Last week, on the back of the Peace Arch News, there was a campaign ad for the Peace Arch Hospital. I was pleased to see that it was translated in two other languages, but a little disappointed that French was not one of them.

I do understand the new demographics of our province, but to go the extra mile to translate the campaign slogan in two other languages and to ignore French seems wrong to me.

To my knowledge, French is still an official language of this country. Here’s a suggestion for “Your gift goes here”: “Votre don sauve des vies.”
