Our health care professionals are often criticized for long waits, response times and personal care.
Recently my wife experienced a heart incident and attended the Peace Arch Hospital emergency room, here in White Rock.
Her five minutes at the reception desk where the necessary paper work was completed to admit her was her longest wait. She was immediately admitted and the care she received was exemplary from the nursing staff who attended her, the technicians who performed the necessary tests and the doctors who provided the diagnosis. They have a difficult job and are not often appreciated for the work they do.
Bravo to each of you.
