I just want to pass along kudos to all the White Rock City workers, volunteers and other helpers who have tirelessly worked to make our beach and beach walk so beautiful and not only fix things after our devastating winter storm, but improve so many things.
After many months of not being able to walk along the waterfront due to health issues, I was prepared to see a few new bits and pieces, but I was in awe of all the improvements – the gorgeous planters and flowers from West to East Beach, all the new benches and grass areas, more garbage and recycling bins, the large rock shoring that has made such a difference – I could go on and on – even some of the eateries have spruced themselves up.
We should be so pleased with all the good things that have taken place and now having the pier open again is icing on the cake.
Thanks to all for making our neighbourhood so welcoming. We are very fortunate to live in such a wonderful place.
