I read with interest the letter to PAN.
I am of the same opinion as the letter writer; we cannot continue to pay for the services and infrastructure of a big city with the limited tax base and population we have.
We need to do whatever it takes to unite our municipality with Surrey.
Our mayor and council should take a hard look at the discontent and even contempt of so many of White Rock’s citizens who are fed up with their handling of the problems and issues facing us.
I think a plebiscite on the amalgamation of White Rock and Surrey would be most revealing.
