Re: ‘Peace Arch Park to stay closed all summer,’ July 7

I was very surprised to read in the Peach Arch News that the Canadian side of the Peach Arch Park will remain closed until at least September 30 due to “border restrictions and vaccine mandates,” while the U.S. side has remained open throughout the pandemic.

Many have wondered why so many Canadians protested in Ottawa, well this is a stark reminder why – as the Trudeau government continues with unscientific and out-of-date COVID mandates and restrictions, where even an outdoor park remains closed to Canadians.
