Our petty tyrants at city hall have once again betrayed their electors and rammed through revised garbage policies without any public notice or consultation.
OK, so the disheartening and dishonest deed has been done.
But let’s not accept one more word from these hypocrites about fighting climate change or launching green initiatives.
Instead of a single contract for all municipal waste, using energy efficient vehicles, our tiny community will continue to be assaulted day and night by swarms of diesel spewing garbage trunks.
Our new city council clearly couldn’t care less about their citizens, let alone the environment.
