It is my understanding that over 250 members in strength, the taxpayer-funded Surrey Police Service includes expensive leadership from chief to sergeants plus 40 civilian staff. Yet there is no phone number or location where one can get help or even advice.

I see no evidence that their members are patrolling the streets, making arrests or keeping my community safe. Their lack of statistical data is mind boggling.

Imagine if Fraser Health hired the same number of doctors and support staff, yet one could not count on them to be available and fully operational for months on end.

They can’t even open medical centres or fully service the public in their profession.

This lack of pubic accountability to the Surrey taxpayers is beyond belief.
