This is the time of year when many of us decide who to make our donations to.
I feel that Volunteer Cancer Drivers Society (Driven to help, March 2) is a very worthwhile group to support.
It is not funded in any way, by either cancer society or the government, and is run entirely by volunteers to help patients get to their cancer or chemo appointments.
I am not involved in any way with this group nor have I used their services – I just greatly admire what they are providing. Should anyone wish to donate, their phone number is 604-515-5400.
