This is to the woman driving the grey VW Passat along Crescent Road a few weeks back at double to triple the posted speed limit:
When you blasted around the corner – in the cycling lane, no less – and almost hit me and my dog as we were trying to cross the road, were you as surprised by our sudden presence as we were by yours?
And when you stuck your hand out the sun roof, were you signaling an apology for putting us at risk, or were you giving us a middle-finger salute?
If it was the former, it is graciously accepted; if the latter, back at ya!
I was able to get only a partial licence-plate number, but I hope it’s enough to help the RCMP find you.
