A 2019 Buick Envision SUV, really, Mr. Mayor? Double shame on you for two reasons:
1) Can you not show your concern and respect for the environment and operate a city-owned electric or at least hybrid vehicle?
2) Are you not ‘double dipping’ the system which taxpayers are paying? It’s one or the other; drive an issued city car, which is a taxable CRA benefit, or receive an allowance using your own vehicle. It’s just that simple, you can’t have both.
One last comment – when an accusation is made it is beneficial for a leader to stand up and refute or explain.
You are still the mayor, for now.
