My wife and I usually go for a walk at Crescent Beach along the waterfront – usually very interesting, except for the amount of garbage that is left behind by families after their get-togethers.

This Sunday, we decided to go to White Rock beach instead.

We were a bit surprised at the poor condition of the large white rock that somewhat represents the White Rock area. It appears not to have been painted this year, and is in disrepair. All it really needs is a good paint job – not expensive, and not difficult to have done, by one of the many workers from the City of White Rock.

Let’s have it spruced up on the next warm, dry day and make it stand out for the many locals and tourists that visit our area.

Many do take pictures beside it to show their friends and families when they return home.
